Minister Aleksandar Tsvetkov will sign an agreement on air transport with Georgia 28.03.2011

The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Aleksandar Tsvetkov is on an official visit in Georgia. He is part of the delegation membership, managed by the President of the National Assembly Tsetska Tsacheva.

During the visit Minister Aleksandar Tsvetkov and the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Vera Kobalia will sign a bilateral agreement on air transport between the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Government of Georgia. Through this document will be arranged at intergovernmental level all the issuеs relevant to the opening and the exploitation of the international regular air lines between the territories of both countries. This will improve considerably the traveling opportunities for the citizens of EU and Georgia.

It is expected to increase vastly the number of the direct connections between EU and Georgia, as well as the general number of the flights. In that way the trade and the tourist flows between EU and Georgia will be encouraged.
