The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Aleksandar Tsvetkov opened a photo exhibition at Terminal 2 of Sofia Airport, devoted to the International Aviation and Cosmonautics Day.

Over 200 thousand passengers are expected to see the exhibition only for a month, said Minister Tsvetkov. Among the twenty photos allowed to enter a competition, the jury presided by Minister Aleksandar Tsvetkov determined to the first place a black and white photo that pictures a flight of plane above two symbolic buildings in Sofia. Author of the photo-winner is Valentin Dotsev. He receives a prize – two-way ticket to Frankfurt provided by Wizz Air.

The International Day of the Aviation was marked with the awarding with a Certificate for quality management ISO 9001:2008 to Directorate General “Civil Aviation Administration”. The audit of the system is made by the international certificating company “Moody International” Bulgaria. Minister Tsvetkov commented that: “The certificate is a proof that the Bulgarian aviation is becoming much more qualitative and I expect that this will make the customers of its services more satisfied”.
