Every inspection of car done in less than 20 minutes could not fulfill the basic requirements of the periodical technical inspection, explained the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, Aleksandar Tsvetkov during a demonstration what should include the periodical inspection of the cars.


To encourage people to take part in the fight of the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications against the fictitious inspections, it is proclaimed a reward for every call of citizen thanks to which a permit of station for technical inspections have been withdrew. The prize is 200 levs and will be provided by the organizations Union of associations of road transport and the Bulgarian Association of Amalgamated Societies in Automobile Transport – BASAT.

A citizen who has doubt that his car has not been put under all inspections can give signals in Automobile Administration or in the respective regional directorate. Every proof will help exceptionally.

During the demonstration one the patrol cars passed the technical inspection and was carefully checked for the good condition of the light signals, the brake and steering gear, the suspension, the wheels and tires as well as for noxious gases.
