Maritime Administration is in search of a missing seaman 12.05.2011

Executive Agency "Maritime Administration" is in search of a missing seaman of the flying under Maltese flag ship “Amazing”. The vessel was travelling from Ukraine to the Bosphorus.

The man was last seen on May, 11 about 20.45 p.m. when the ship was in Romanian waters. His absence was ascertained on May, 12 at 7.00 a.m. when the vessel had already been near the Bosphorus.

Maritime Administration has undertaken actions for search in the region for that Bulgaria is responsible. An airplane of the voluntary body “BULSAR” has taken off. The naval forces reported that had a ship that could come to the aid if the airplane found the missing. All vessels in the region have been warned to navigate carefully. The ship “Amazing” has also returned to look for the missing sailor.
