The Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Kamen Kichev presented the new service of Holding Bulgarian State Railways – a free wireless internet access on the trains. The demonstration was made in the train in direction Sofia-Bourgas. The joint project between Bulgarian State Railways and Nokia Siemens Networks provides introduction of free wireless internet in the carriages type “bistro”. The idea of the project is the traveling by train to be more pleasant. The service is to be gradually introduced in the system of Bulgarian State Railways, after being made the necessary examination about the network coverage and the interest, said Kamen Kichev.

The executive director of Nokia Siemens Networks in Bulgaria Martin Bogoev and the team leader of Nokia Siemens Networks Michael Tremel demonstrated the opportunities provided by the service.
