Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski was honored guest at the signing of an agreement for extension of Lufthansa Technik Sofia’s  repairing base. In his speech at the ceremony he said increasing the capacity of the base is a new stage of development, an example for good investment practices for maintaining high international standards and requirements.

Four years ago Lufthansa Technik AG decided to place their new repairing base in Bulgaria. The company is one of the biggest investors in the country with over 25 million investments. They will invest another 20 million in the expansion.

After the completion of the project, "Lufthnaza Technik Sofia" will be able to serve up to 5 planes at one and the same time, Minister Moskovski concluded.
