EA "Automobile Administration" impose sanctions with 3 million levs more compared to the same period last year 07.10.2011

Since the beginning of the year, EA "Automobile Administration" have imposed sanctions with 3 million levs more compared to the same period last year. Inspectors have drawn up over 14 thousand acts and penalties for more than 8 million are imposed.

Since the beginning of the year so far, during road checks throughout the country inspectors from EA "Automobile Administration" have checked nearly 184 thousand vehicles, carrying passengers and cargo.

Nearly 1,500 inspections in the stations for periodic inspection of vehicles were carried out and 71 acts had been made.

Inspectors from EA "Automobile Administration" were withdrawn from circulation for 6 months 234 vehicles, for illegal transportation of passengers and cargo. Plates have been returned to 20 of them, due to expiration of the sentence of 6 months.

Since the launch of direct phone for signals about transport irregularities which is 02 / 940 9400, EA "Automobile Administration" received signals from over 300 citizens. 80 of them were closed with violations, 37 are currently under review and the rest are closed.
