The Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Parvan Rusinov took part in the opening of the International Conference on Cyber Security for the countries of Southeast Europe. Recently virtual criminals are better organized groups, whose actions aim to extract enormous profits, theft of intellectual property and identity, said the Deputy Minister. According to him, the object of their attention are mainly financial institutions and businesses. Victim of cybercrime, however, may also be a government.
The most effective counteraction is cooperation between specialists in the field of information technology and law enforcement, said Parvan Rusinov. He stressed that the European Commission plans to establish an European Centre for Cybercrime. On national level should be strengthen the cooperation between the Governmental Center for computer incidents and sector "Computer crime, intellectual property and gaming" in the Ministry of Interior, said the Deputy Minister.
