Bulgarian organizations can participate in the international competition for projects connected with the information society 04.11.2011
Large size

Bulgarian state structures, academic community, civil society organizations and the private sector can participate in a competition for projects about Information Society made by International Telecommunication Union (ITU). Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications sent a letter with information about the opportunities for involvement in the initiative to stakeholders in the administration.

WSIS Project Prizes Contest is divided in 18 categories, including public infrastructure, eGovernment, secure IT environment, cultural diversity.

The application deadline is January 20, 2012. Voting for the best project will be until April 10, 2012, and the winners will be announced at a ceremony on May 15, 2012 in Geneva, during the Summit of the international organization.

The awarded projects will be included in the Guide for the best global practices in the field of information society and will be implemented in other states.
