Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski took part in the informal meeting of the Council of Ministers of Transport, Telecommunications and Energy, EU format "Telecommunications" in Poznan, Poland.

"Electronic identification, e-procurement, e-health and e-justice are conducive factors for the development rights of EU citizens and for the realization of a single internal market without frontiers", said Minister Moskovski. “Currently about 30 million national electronic identities are used by EU citizens to access various online public services in their countries” he added. "This number shows, that legal barriers to their use for access to electronic services provided by other Member States must be overcomed", said Minister Moskovski.

He stressed the need to develop the results of several large-scale pilot projects in the next programming period 2014 - 2020. They are in the field of secure e-identity, pan e-procurement, open smart services for e-health and e-justice through online data exchange.

The position of the Bulgarian side is that in the new programming period 2014 - 2020 it is necessary to continue the implementation of IT systems in the Member States, this activity is financed by European funds. Ivaylo Moskovski stressed that in a complicated financial and economic situation, the Bulgarian side believes that efforts should be focused on attracting private investments.
