Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company launched electronic invoice service 07.12.2011
Large size

Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company introduced the electronic invoice service on December 1, 2011.

The electronic invoice is valid tax document signed electronically and is completely identical to it’s paper copy and meets all the requirements of the Electronic Document and Electronic Signature Act, the accounting and VAT Act. It offers convenience for customers and can be requested free of charge by filling out the application declaration, which was published on the website of Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company: www.bgports.bg and www.vtmis.bg.

E-bill allows the user to receive, review, acknowledge receipt to approve or dispute online. Legal requirement for storage of invoices for long periods leads to higher costs for traditional organizing paper records. The electronic archive reduces costs and enables easier access to information, regardless of the period back in time.

Sending electronic invoices reduces labor costs and materials associated with printing. Postage and other costs for delivery of documents / invoices will also be reduced.
