By order of the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, Ivaylo Moskovski, the Executive Agency "Automobile Administration" strengthened the control of shipments of passengers during the Christmas holidays.
These measures will be taken because of the expected increase in passenger traffic and the national and regional road networks during the holidays., Road Administration will strengthen the control in the places with concentration of passengers (bus and train stations, airports, etc.), to ensure safe movement of people.
Inspectors will check the technical condition and compliance with regulatory requirements of the buses and passenger taxis. They also will monitor ticketing, baggage receipts, standing passengers and unregulated services.
