The Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev will talk tomorrow January 24, 2006 with the relatives and friends of “Hera’s” crew. The meeting will take place in Varna, Seaman Club at 12.15pm. By his visit in Turkey last week Minister Mutafchiev received the report of the Turkey authorities concerning the tragic accident with the ship “Hera”. On February 13, 2004 the vessel “Hera” floating under Cambodian banner with 19 sailors on board – 17 Bulgarians and 2Ukrainians sank 8 miles (17km) northeast from the Bosporus, Black sea at a depth of 70 meters. Owner of the ship is the Cambodian firm “Maestra Shipping Limited”, with a site in the offshore zone Saint Vincent and Grenadine. First at 10.15pm, Minister Mutafchiev will have a meeting with the direction of Port Varna and at 11.30am he will visit “Parahodstvo BMF” LTD. In the program are also planned meetings with the mayor of the city Kiril Iordanov, as well with the district intendant of Varna Peter Kandilarov.
