The Ministry of Transport started series of national discussion forums in occasion of the coming accepting of Bulgaria as a member of the European Union and also in connection with main legislation changes. The first forum will take place under the patronage of the Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev on January 29, 2006, Sunday at 10.00am in hotel “Festa Barselo Premium – Sofia” The new legislation requirements regarding the public transportation in Bulgaria, will be present there. One of the discussion themes will be – a course of action to stop the buying of driver examinations. Discussed will be also the normative requirements, as well the condition of the automobile fleet in Bulgaria. The forum will attend the minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev, the Head of the Commission on Transport and Communications of the Parliament Jordan Mirchev. The Deputy Ministers of Transport Georgi Peterneichev and Krasimira Martinova, the executive director of IA “Automobile Administration” associate professor “Volodia Kirov”, the deputy mayor of Sofia Municipality Velizar Stoilov, the head of direction “ Road Police” of DNSP colonel Alexi Stratiev etc. Media Partner of the event is the magazine “Buses and Mini-buses”.
