Better conditions and reliefs for the owners of electric vehicles are among the proposals of the working group with representatives from several ministries and the industry. This was said by the Minister of Transport, Ivaylo Moskovski during the presenting of the “Energy Efficiency and Green Economy Programme”. Its’ resources will be used to support investments in production of electric vehicles and building and developing of the necessary infrastructure.
MTITC supports all initiatives which aim improving the vehicle fleet, usage of green cars and taxis, better and safer driving. Coordinated efforts are needed to reduce the intensity of transport and its’ bad impact on climate change, the Minister added.
"The main goal of the Ministry until 2020 is to build a sustainable, fully integrated transport system that meets the economic, social and environmental needs of society," said Minister Moskovski. "The realization of this goal is related with improvement of transport infrastructure and the gradual renewal of the fleet in various modes, and the development and implementation of innovative solutions" he added.
