Bulgaria and Romania will work together on the Danube projects. This became clear during the Bulgarian-Romanian meeting held in Rousse, dedicated to joint projects. The Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Kamen Kichev took part in the discussions.

Other participants in the meeting were Carla Pius, coordinator of the European Union on the implementation of water projects, Cesare Bernabéu – General Directorate "Mobility and Transport" of the European Commission and representatives of relevant ministries from both countries.

Carla Pius stressed that in the next programming period, both countries should work together to acquire the available financial resources. Signing of a memorandum, which will establish a legal framework for cooperation between Bulgaria and Romania was also discussed at the meeting.
