The opportunities investments in Bulgarian have been surveyed during a visit of a high-ranking Chinese delegation in Sofia. The direct Bulgaria-China connection were on the agenda of the meeting between Bulgaria's Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, Kamen Kichev and the Chinese parliamentary delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of China National Assembly, Mr. Jha Peysin.

In the recent months Bulgaria is seeing increased interest on part of Chinese companies to invest in Bulgaria and Transport infrastructure is identified as potential area for cooperation.The potential opening of a direct airline between Bulgaria and China will influence positively on the tourism sector.

The Chinese side informed the Deputy Minister about their projects for EUR 10 billion for Central and Eastern Europe, which can be implemented all countries in the region, including Bulgaria.
