PM Boyko Borisov and Minister Ivailo Moskovski hand a check for BGN 100,000 to the Chernomorets basketball club 23.09.2012

Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov and the Minister of Transport, Informtion Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski today handed a check worth BGN 100,000 to Chernomorets basketball club. The funds are provided by the Port Burgas EAD and are vital to the existence of the team.

According to the accounts of the basketball club about BGN 100,000 are needed to be paid for participation in the men's team championship of the country including additional costs."The state should support sports whenever possible because it is not only fun, but also health of our children," said Minister Moskovski during the event.

Chernomorets basketball club was in a difficult financial situation and its' participation in the National Basketball League was under question. Thanks to the support of Port Burgas EAD the team will be part of the League.
