Dyian Dinev, BULATSA Director General wаs elected Vice-Chair of the European CANSO CEO Committee. He is the first East European ANSP which is part of the chairmanship of the European CANSO CEO Committee. The Vice-Chair is elected for two years and after the expiry of the 2 years' period Mr. Dinev will take the chairmanship of the European forum for the next two years.
On 21 September 2012 the CANSO European Office in Brussels hosted a EC Chair handover meeting between the new and the former EC3 Chairmen for coordination of the future actions towards the development of ANS in Europe.
The meeting was attended by the new EC3 Chair, Mr. Maurice Georges, Mr. Massimo Garbini, CEO of ENAV, Italy and former EC3 Chair, Mr. Guenter Martis, Director European Affairs, CANSO EUR Office as well as. Mr. Maurizio Castelletti, Head of Unit Single Sky and ATM Modernization, EC.
Diyan Dinev complements: “The European region is the largest regional organisation of CANSO under the global roof. Europe is very diverse and needs strong leadership to align its true potential. As the Vice Chair of the EC3, I am clearly dedicated to be an active part of the European developments in the EU context”. Mr. Maurice Georges said that he is looking forward to a strengthened CANSO contribution on the evolution of the Single European Sky, also in cooperation with our aviation partners. |
