EA Automobile Administration issued 255 fines for one week 19.11.2012

EA "Automobile Administration" issued 255 fines and banned movement of 42 vehicles during a specialized inspections last week. Inspectors from Executive Agency "Automobile Administration" had made inspections of speed limit of buses and trucks, schedules and time management, breaks’ condition and rest periods for drivers.

The special campaign was made by order of the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski on the occasion of the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims- 18th November.

The total number of checked buses and trucks is 4 874. Most common violations which were noted are technical malfunctions, connected with speed limit, resting time of the drivers, lack of technical overview and tachographs, route schedules, ruptured discs, torn tires, broken mirrors, lack of extinguishers.

The campaign of the Ministery of Transport, Information technology and Communications  aims improving road safety and reducing road accidents.
