Bulgaria fully complied with the recommendations of the European Commission during the talks in 2009 for multiplex operators. This was stated by the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski during a  press conference about the decision of the European Commission to take action against Bulgaria in the European Court of Justice for the construction of digital terrestrial networks.

Bulgarian Government took all necessary measures to avoid the trial, following the European Commission's recommendations for legislative changes and adding a new participant in the market. Currently the Communications Regulation Commission (CRC) conducts a contest for new multiplex operator, the Bulgarian Government has committed itself to report the results to the EC. Requirements for candidates were discussed in advance with experts from Brussels. CRC don’t allow to participate in the competition already authorized companies.

"The Bulgarian Government has not yet received reasons for the decision of the European Commission. We hope that all the actions we have taken, according to the recommendations of the European Commission will make a positive decision for Bulgaria and will lead to the imposition of sanctions " minister Moskovski  said in conclusion.
