PM Boyko Borisov and the Transport Minister Ivaylo Moskovski inspected Danube Bridge 2 construction 06.02.2013

98% of the project is ready to the present moment and the bridge will be completed in the spring of 2013. This was announced during the inspectation of the construction of the Danube Bridge 2 by the Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and the Transport Minister Ivaylo Moskovski.

“According to the construction plan the bridge will be completed in the end of april, so we can put it in operation in the beginning of may if the weather conditions allow performing the final operations ”said minister Moskovski during the inspection.

The construction activities of the bridge are divided into two parts – building the bridge and the surrounding infrastructure. In 2013, will be completed laying the railway line and the road surface on the bridge, electrification works of the line, connecting installations and more. Surrounding infrastructure of the bridge was completed last year and the sites already have Act 15.
