Deputy-Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Valery Borissov and Ivan Naydenov – Deputy-Minister of Foreign Affairs sealed the commissioning of the postage stamp edition dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Bulgaria’s accession as full member to the Francophonie.

During the ceremony Valery Borissov said that the special postcard is a symbol of our pride in being part of the values ​​of the International Organization of the Francophonie. According to him, countries with a population of over 800 million people are members of this cultural and linguistic community.        

Bulgaria is a Balkan center of Francophonie”, added Ivan Naydenov. He indicated that thousands of Bulgarians will take part of the anniversary celebration. The ceremony was attended by representatives of diplomatic missions, francophones and philatelists.      

The circulation of the illustrated postcard is 803 copies, and the price – BGN 0.40. Georgi Pavlov is the project artist.
