Minister Kristian Krastev leaves for a meeting with the Bulgarian hauliers at the Turkish border 17.05.2013

Caretaker Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, Kristian Krastev, sets off for the Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint in order to meet with representatives of the Bulgarian hauliers and to inform them of the talks held today with Ismail Aramaz, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Bulgaria.

Ambassador Aramaz has made the commitment to organize a meeting between Minister Kristian Krastev and his Turkish counterpart, Binali Yildirim, in due time. Minister Krastev has expressed his willingness to attend the meeting at any time in order to resolve the issues with the Bulgarian hauliers as soon as possible.

Bulgarian freight companies insist on compliance with the rules and regulations of international treaties and agreements to which Turkey is a party and elimination of the unilateral restrictions on the use of permits introduced by the Turkish side.
