The Bulgarian-Romanian venture Danube Bridge Vidin – Calafat Plc was established at a shareholders’ meeting which was held earlier today at the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications.

Headquartered and registered in Vidin, the joint venture will manage, operate and maintain the joint border bridge over the river Danube, as well as collect tolls from passing vehicles.   

The company’s capital amounts to 300 000 Levs and is equally allocated amongst its shareholders.
