The bids for the second phase of the delivery of digital television decoders against vouchers were opened 23.08.2013

The bids of the participants in the public procurement for the selection of contractor for the sale of digital television decoders to socially disadvantaged citizens, were opened today at the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications.

"Bulgarian Posts" EAD and "K & K electronics” were admitted to this stage of the procedure. The two companies had submitted offers for the three Lots of the procurement. They are for the delivery of decoding devices on the territory of the North-Central region (Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Ruse, Razgrad, Silistra);  the South-West region, which encompasses Blagoevgrad, Kyustendil and Pernik, the municipalities on the territory of the city of Sofia (excluding Oborishte) and Sofia District; South-East region (Bourgas, Sliven, Stara Zagora, Yambol).

"Bulgarian Posts" EAD offer a service fee which amounts to 0.8 per cent of the amount of the devices sold. The prices for the decoders are respectively 36.12 Lev excl. VAT for Terrestrial television, 25.71 Lev excl. VAT for satellite television and 40.85 Lev excl. VAT for cable platform.

"K & K electronics” offer is 1 per cent service fee and respectively 32.92 Lev excl. VAT for a decoder for terrestrial digital television, 28.25 Lev. excl. VAT for satellite and 24.92 Lev. excl. VAT for cable.

Following the analysis of the bids, the ranking will be announced.
