The results of the project for developing online data access to the railway infrastructure services were presented at a final conference.
E-services and applications that provide online data access to the railway lines, platforms, tracks, railway stations, overheads crossing and levels crossing have been created within the project. This is what the Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Georgi Todorov said at the opening of the forum. The information can be used by the institutions that provide administrative services related to cadastre and real estate. In this way it is possible to conduct a preliminary survey of their proximity to the railway infrastructure when planning and designing public and private investment projects, Georgi Todorov added. "This saves time for citizens and entrepreneurs as well as the administration" said the Deputy Minister. He emphasized that with the completion of the project MTITC creates the necessary mechanisms and standards. The task of any particular administration will be to implement them in specific services aimed at citizens and businesses as soon as possible.
The value of project "Improving services for citizens and businesses through e-government development in the field of spatial data and services at the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications" is about BGN 1, 2 million and it has been implemented with the financial support of Operational Programme "Administrative Capacity", which is co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund.
Over 80 representatives of public administrations and companies in the field of information technology and communications have participated in the final conference. |
