Tsvetan Dilov is the new CEO of ATS 20.09.2013

The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Danail Papazov appointed Tsvetan Dilov Director General of the State-owned Enterprise "Bulgarian Air Traffic Services Authority" (BULATSA).

Tsvetan Dilov has had over 30 years of experience at the "Bulgarian Air Traffic Services Authority". He began his career in BULATSA in 1981 as a traffic controller in the Flight Control Center - Sofia. Over the years he occupied the positions - air traffic controller, Head of the Center for traffic control in Sofia, Head of " Air Traffic Control " in the Head Office of BULATSA. In 1996 he was appointed General Deputy Director of Operations Directorate at BULATSA. He held this position until 2001, when he became CEO of the enterprise and held the post until 2006 when he was appointed Director of "Safety" Directorate. Since 2010 he has been Director of the Regional Centre ATS - Sofia.

Tsvetan Dilov is Authorized Representative of Bulgaria in the Governing Body of Eurocontrol. He has participated in a number of committees and working groups, as well as working bodies of international organizations such as ICAO, NATO and Eurocontrol. He is fluent in English and Russian.
