Outstanding postal employees were awarded today on the occasion of the World Post Day – October 9
The employees were nominated by the regional offices of "Bulgarian Posts" for their longstanding work and results achieved in the system of the largest postal operator. They received awards by the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications and "Bulgarian Posts".
In 2012, about 55 million letters and packages have been sent and received at the branches of “Bulgarian Posts”, said Georgi Todorov, Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications at the ceremony. According to him, these data are quantitative evidence of the importance of the work of postal workers - regardless of whether they carry personal messages or important business information.
Prizes were awarded to Vasilka Uzunova from "Main Services and Logistics", Sofia; Velichka Tineva from the Tervel Post Office; Zhelyazka Petrova, employee at the counter in the village of Ticha, Sliven area; Mito Mitov, Head of the Cherven Bryag Post Office; Rosen Manchev, treasurer at the counter in the village of Beden, Smolyan area.
The awardees will make a tour of the exchange-sorting center of “Bulgarian Posts” in Sofia, and the Headquarters of the company. |
