The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Danail Papazov an interinstitutional meeting with bus operators today at the MTITC. The Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Anton Ginev, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior Svetozar Lazarov, the Deputy Finance Minister Lyudmila Petkova, the management of Executive Agency "Automobile Administration" and experts in European funds took part in the meeting.
Today's meeting is part of a series of talks with the bus sector initiated by Minister Danail Papazov. During the talks, the carriers were presented measures to combat illegal operators. Some future actions for prevention and control of passengers as well as issues related to the reporting of tickets issued, the opportunities for European funding for bus operators among others were also discussed.
The participants at the meeting agreed to continue the constructive discussions during the next week. |
