Minister Danail Papazov takes part in the EU Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council (TTE) 14.03.2014

The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Danail Papazov took part in the regular meeting of the Council of the European Union on Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council (TTE) in Brussels.

Within the discussions on railway transport, Minister Papazov presented the positive position of Bulgaria on the revised Proposal for a Regulation on the European Union Agency for Railways. Minister Papazov also presented the position on the proposed measures for urban mobility. The adoption of a position of the Council on the Regulation establishing the Shift2Rail Joint Undertaking was also discussed.

Within the framework of the TTE Council the Minister held bilateral meetings with the minister of Transport of Romania Dan Sova and the Greek minister of Infrastructure, Transport and Communications, Michailis Chrisochoidis, with whom he discussed the bilateral relations as well as the opportunities for promoting transport cooperation between the countries.
