Deputy Minister Georgi Todorov: Three new BULPOST’ offices are being opened today 21.03.2014

“We expect 14% revenue growth of “Bulgarian Posts” EAD courier services due to the measures we take”. That was stated today by the Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Georgi Todorov at the opening of the “BULPOST” office of in Veliko Tarnovo. The event was attended by the District Governor Georgi Rachev, the Executive Director of “Bulgarian Posts” EAD Valentin Petkov and others.

“Our goal is to expand the branch network with the promotion of courier services”, said Georgi Todorov. He explained that two more offices for courier services are going to be opened today in the towns of Pleven and Ruse. In his words this will lead to attracting more individual and corporate clients, as well as improving the company's position on the market.

Answering the journalists’ questions Mr. Todorov announced that the government has allocated 40 000 levs for the improvement of digital signal in four municipalities in the region – Veliko Tarnovo, Zlataritsa, Elena and Suhindol. “The mayors are free to choose the best solution for the provision of digital signal”, he added. 

Earlier today Deputy Minister Todorov met the Regional Governor of Veliko Tarnovo Georgi Rachev and discussed the opportunities for the development of Gorna Oryahovitsa Airport and other important projects in the region.
