The new electronic services and modules at the diver license exams are already in operation, said the Minister of Transport, information Technology and Communications Danail Papazov today during the presentation of Executive Agency Automobile Administration new electronic services. These are among the commitments made at the end of last year.
Minister Danail Papazov also mentioned that the new system is part of e-government and the overall policy of the Ministry for the commissioning of e-services and which will be in operation as of 1 June 2014. The errors and final results of the practical exams will be recorder electronically via a tablet and thus automatically filed in the exam protocols. “This would reduce the chances for manipulation of documents and the corruption during exams”, he added. Until now the examiner recorded the results pen and paper and then they were transferred into the protocols, which were filed in the Automobile Administration system.
Minister Danail Papazov announced that the new system allows for the monitoring of the exam route as well as the errors made. Everyone will be able to review the video of their exam at the training centre.
“Apart form the electronic filing of the exam results, we have also developed the Electronic register of the driver candidates”, said the Executive Director of Executive Agency Automobile Administration Dimitar Ganev. The training centers will fill in the information details for every candidate in the register, as well as the trainers, vehicles and internal exams during the training. Mr. Dimitar Ganev added that the introduction of the Electronic register will prevent from registering candidates in the training groups after the start of the training itself unlike up until now when it was common to add candidates in the middle of a training course, which was unregulated.
The other electronic service that we will introduce is the Electronic schedule for the exam dates for driver license candidates, announced Mr. Ganev. This is one of the most useful novelties for the business. As of 1 June the training centers themselves will set the exam dates. Filling in paper exam application forms will no longer be necessary and the fees can be paid electronically.
Mr. Ganev added that up until now a representative of the training center had to fill in written all the applications and wait in lines at the corresponding municipal directorate of Automobile Administration so as to present all the necessary for the training and the exam documents, which took up expenses and time.
There is also a service for the Electronic application for amendments in the training permit for driver candidates. All the necessary documents will be registered electronically by the training centers. The system will allow for the necessary information to be collected from othe registers of the state administration (company’s information, vehicle information, insurances, driving permits, etc.). |
