The Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Anton Ginev called for compliance with the rules for road transport during his visit to the site of today's accident near the railway station in Septemvri. Earlier today a passenger train collided with a truck, which passed through the crossing irrespective of the activated sound and light signals. The cause of the accident was that the driver of the truck has not complied with the rules for going over the railroad crossing.

“Statistics show that in 2013 unscrupulous drivers of motor vehicles caused 31 similar incidents in which four people died and 13 were injured", said Deputy Minister Anton Ginev during the inspection.

Deputy Minister Anton Ginev visited the hospital in Pazardzhik to know more of the health state of people injured in the incident.
