The 135the anniversary of "Bulgarian Posts" was celebrated today with the validation of a commemorative postage stamp. The commissioning seal was put by the President of the National Assembly and Patron of the celebrations Mihail Mihov, the Minister of Culture and heir to one of the creators of the Posts - Petar Stojanovic, the Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Petar Kirov, the MPs Spass Pantchev and Boriss Tsvetkov and the CEO of the company Valentin Petkov.

The issue consists of a postage stamp and a seal and is printed in 11 000 units. The artist of the projects is Apostol Apostolov. The stamp depicts Stefan Parushev - the first Bulgarian ruler who assumes leadership of the post offices in the Principality of Bulgaria.

A Philatelic Exhibition was opened in Sofia on the occasion.
