Varna and the Vietnamese city Da Nang, being picturesque and perspective places, have all the prerequisites for a successful and fruitful cooperation. This view was expressed by the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Danial Papazov, the Mayor of Varna Ivan Portnih, and the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Le Duc Luu. A Memorandum of Cooperation between the two cities is to be signed in due time.
During the talks they discussed the possibilities for cooperation in the field of tourism and mutual promotion of tourist potential. Two shipbuilding companies operate in Da Nang, which is a great potential for cooperation with Bulgaria. The Vietnamese port city is also ready to cooperate with the port of Varna in the development of port services and logistics.
The meeting was initiated by Minister Papazov after the commitment made within the visit of the delegation headed by the Prime Minister Oresharski to Vietnam in April this year. |
