The Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Anton Ginev took part in the inaugurating ceremony of the airline VarnaIstanbul today at Varna Airport, Terminal 2.

The opening of a new airline will increase traffic, improve the quality of the services and expand the opportunities for traveling for Bulgarian and foreign citizens.

The VarnaIstanbul line will be operated by the Turkish airlines and there will be flights four times a week, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, and the flight duration will be 45 minutes. The airline flies planes like Boing 737, Airbus 319, Airbus 320, and Airbus 321.

The Turkish airlines have been present on the Bulgarian market for a long time and currently there are two flights a day along the direct line SofiaIstanbul.

During the ceremony the Deputy Director General of “Investment and Technology” at the Turkish airlines Ahmed Bolat expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Danail Papazov for the support of the airline Varna – Istanbul.
