The Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Peter Kirov greeted the members of the Scientific and Technical Union of Transport on the occasion of the transport worker day.
Minister Kirov read a welcome speech on behalf of Minister Danail Papazov. Transport and Communications provide employment to almost 140 thousand people. I believe that the transport sector will continue to attract professionals and young people who will perform their duties with enthusiasm and confidence because the sector boosts the competitiveness of the national economy.
The transport worker day is celebrated every last Sunday of June. Representatives of the employee’s associations in the transport sector, the National Transport Chamber and the bodies of MTITC participated in today’s event. |
