As of today information technology and communications will be coordinated by Assoc. Kamen Spassov, who was appointed Deputy Minister in the caretaker government.

The new Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications is an engineer specialized in automation of production at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy  - Sofia, where he has obtained a PhD. Assoc. Kamen Spassov has an international MBA from the Business School at the University of South Carolina, USA, and the University of Economics in Vienna. The majority of his professional experience is in the field of e-government, interoperability and information security. Until now he was an associate professor at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at Sofia University "St.Kliment Ohridski ".
