Transport Minister on a working visit to China 08.09.2014

The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Nikolina Angelkova makes a two-day working visit to China.

During her visit Minister Angelkova will meet with the Deputy Minister of Transport of the People's Republic of China Feng Dzhanlin and representatives of China Communication Construction Company - the third largest company specializing in the construction of transport and telecommunications infrastructure. The meetings provide opportunities for discussing the cooperation in infrastructure projects, concessions and attracting direct investment in the transport sector.

Minister Angelkova will participate in the annual Summit of Young Global Leaders organized by the World Economic Forum. In March 2014 Minister Nikolina Angelkova was elected as one of the 214 young global leaders. The prize is awarded by the World Economic Forum and is recognition of excellence in management and leadership at both professional and social levels.

The forum is held in Beijing this year and will bring together more than 1,500 participants from over 90 countries, including politicians, representatives of leading global companies, young leaders, entrepreneurs.
