MTITC extends the deadline for proposals for postage stamps for 2015 until 15 September 09.09.2014
Large size

The specialized Council for Postage Stamp Issuing of the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications (MTITC), began to examine the proposals for the issuance of postage stamps and products for major events, anniversaries and celebrations during 2015. Currently 92 proposals have been filed with the largest number of them (26) in the field of culture and art.

MTITC extends the deadline for making proposals for the plan for next year until 15 September. They must comply with the criteria of the Council on Postage Stamp Issuing: to depict events and anniversaries from the birth of people with proven contribution to the strengthening of national identity or the development of society.

Proposals must fit into the thematic sections. "Bulgaria - our motherland", "Bulgaria and Europe" and "Bulgaria and the world." Another important requirement is that the postage stamps or cards for a particular person or event should not have been issued in the past 10 years.

The annual thematic plan, for the issuance of postage stamps, postal products and special postmarks in 2015 approved by the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, will be published on the website of MTITC at the end of 2014.
