Over 60 representatives of ministries, agencies, regional and municipal administrations took part in the Bulgarian-Korean e-government seminar. The training was initiated by the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications and is the first in the series of trainings for representatives of the state and municipal administration, which are organized with the Public Administration Institute.

The Bulgarian-Korean seminar was opened by the Deputy minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Kamen Spassov and the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, H.E. Chin Ming-Ho. Leading experts from Korean government institutions and consultant companies presented the experience of the Republic of Korea in deploying e-governance, ICT infrastructure, development and reengineering of the work process in the administration, the exchange of information between administrations and cyber security.

Speakers from the World Bank are to participate in the next seminar who will present the open data concept accessible for the citizens and the business on 11 November. On 20 November representatives of the global search engine Google will present their ideas for the provision of remote services by the administration. The frequent participants in the seminars will be awarded certificates by the Public Administration Institute.
