Today the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Nikolina Angelkova opened a photo exhibition: "Operational Programme Transport 2007 - 2013 in pictures."
The exhibition includes more than 80 photos posted on 28 panels that show the results from the implementation of Operational Programme "Transport" 2007 - 2013. For the last 7 years 242 km of rail lines (total length) have been rehabilitated and constructed anew; over 140 km of highways and 40 km of main roads have been constructed; 13 km of metro lines with 13 metro stations have been built.
The exhibition includes photos from the implementation of some of the largest projects funded under the Operational Programme "Transport" 2007 – 2013. The photos represent the construction of the railway line Plovdiv - Burgas and Svilengrad - the Turkish border; "Trakiya", "Struma" and "Maritza" highways; the extension of the subway, the rehabilitation of the railway stations in Sofia and Pazardzhik, the construction of River Information Centre in the town of Russe and others. All guests and residents of Sofia will be able to see the exhibition in the capital’s garden “Kristal” until November 18, 2014. |
