Postage stamp to mark the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and the Sovereign Order of Malta 11.11.2014

The Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications issued a postage stamp and an envelope on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and the Sovereign Order of Malta. The knight religious order of the Roman Catholic Church is considered the oldest order of chivalry in the world. The Order of Malta has an observer status at the United Nations and maintains diplomatic relations with more than 100 countries.

The postal-philatelic edition consists of a stamp, which is in circulation of 13,000 copies and the illustrated envelope will be printed in 1777 copies. Iliya Gruev is the artist of the project.
