The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski greeted in person the locomotive engineer, Dimitar Hristov, the train manager Kiril Stefanov, and the conductor Vasil Djartov for their professionalism during the incident in the section between the stations of Boboshevo and Kocherinovo.

I would like to thank you for your deeds. Human life is priceless, said Minister Moskovski addressing the three railway representatives.

The Minister wished them well-being, happy holidays and accident-free work.

We recall that today – 11.12.2014 at about 7 p.m. the fast train travelling from Blagoevgrad to Sofia hit a truck, which had fallen on the railway tracks, in the section Boboshevo - Kocherinovo. As a result the Desiro carriage went on fire. The 95 passengers were evaquated immediately by the train staff and there was no one injured thanks to their professionalism.
