Minister Ivaylo Moskovski orders more carriages for the Sofia – Pernik trains 15.12.2014
Large size

The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski ordered the management of the railway carrier to establish the necessary organization for the normal train traffic in the region of Gorna Banya station.

Minister Moskovski has been informed that the reason for the public discontent is the lack of carriages and room for all the passengers along the line Sofia – Pernik. The lack of rolling stock is due to the accident with the Desiro carriage at Mursalevo last week.

As the Minister stipulated, as of tomorrow – 16 December 2014, BDZ-Passenger Services EOOD will provide enough carriages for the trains along Sofia – Pernik line so as to ensure passengers’ comfort. The company’s management apologizes for the inconvenience. The staff who has not distributed effectively the carriages along the busiest lines will be sanctioned.
