Large size

The minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski ordered the immediate inspection of the company “Magistrali” AD, Karlovo. The reason for the complex inspection is the yesterday’s school bus accident transporting 31 students and the bus driver driving under the influence.

We recall that yesterday, 17 March 2015, at about 7:10 a.m., after the students disembarked the bus in front of Vassil Levski School, Karlovo, the driver of the Setra bus, owned by “Magistrali” AD hit a vehicle while maneuvering. Upon the on-spot inspection by the Ministry of Interior, it was found that the motorist was driving with 0.7 per cent alcohol content in the blood. A blood test is to be made.

In view of the forthcoming spring holidays for students and the expected transportation of children and students by bus, we call for special attention on behalf of all motorists concerning the technical condition of the vehicles and the preliminary technical and medical checks.
