The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski and the Minister of Economic Development, Trade, Tourism and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Albania Arben Ahmetaj opened the Sixth Session of the Joint Intergovernmental Bulgarian-Albanian Commission on Economic Cooperation. The meeting was held yesterday, March 20, 2015 in Tirana, Albania.
In the opening two ministers reviewed the economic situation in both countries and the state of bilateral relations. During the talks, they was agreed to broaden and deepen the forms of cooperation in areas of mutual interest, such as transport, information technology, economics, finance, investment, energy, tourism, construction, environment, social affairs, agriculture, culture and education. At the end of the session a protocol was signed, which contains the specific arrangements between the two countries.
The ministers stressed the importance of holding this session of the Joint Commission, which is an important tool for the overall development of economic relations between Bulgaria and Albania and the opportunities to discuss ways to enhance bilateral trade and implementation of joint economic projects in different areas. |
