The Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications joined Junior Achievement Bulgaria initiative “Manager for a day”. Valery Ivanov took the position of Minister Ivaylo Moskovski for a day. Minister Moskovski introduced his substitute to the Ministry’s functions and structure. During his day as a minister Ivanov got acquainted with the work of the Head of political cabinet, the Parliamentary Secretary and the Chief Secretary of the Ministry.
Later during the day Valery Ivanov visited the premises of BULATSA where the junior Minister tried the simulator that is used to train flight operators, and after that visited the control tower where he observed real time air traffic management. At the training center of DG “Civil Aviation Administration” Valery Ivanov observed the process of cabin crew training. After that the Minister inspected the repair works at Sofia railway station.
Valery Ivanov is in the 11th grade at the American College in Sofia. Valery has been an excellent student and has been included in the Honorary List of the President of the American College in Sofia. He has participated in various humanitarian projects and speaks English, German and Russian.
