Sofia will host the summer school for young people from all over Europe aged 18-30. The training is an event parallel to the European Dialogue on Internet Governance (EuroDIG) 2015, which will take place on 4-5 June in the capital city.
The summer school will take place in the period 1-3 June. The topics will cover issues that will be discussed within the EuroDIG days – Internet access, intellectual property rights on the web, personal data protection, domain names, network neutrality, new media, awarding managing rights.
Requirements for the candidates:
- Aged 18-30;
- Interest in media and politics;
- Motivation to make the voice of young people matter in decision making on issues of internet governance.

Bulgaria will host for the first time the European version of the Global Forum on Internet Governance. Since 2008 the initiative has been organized in various European countries to promote national debates as an inseparable part of the European dialogue on the topic. All stakeholders (governments, scientific institutes, academia, media, the business and civil society) participate in the Forum.
